Note
The Marriott hotel room block is
full. An alternate is the Modera Hotel located at 515
SW Clay Street. It is within walking distance of both
the conference hotel and downtown Portland (about 4 blocks
from the conference hotel). The hotel is honoring the
$142 rate of the Marriott. There are no room block boundaries;
it's on a first come first serve basis. The rate will
be available to anyone who mentions the conference name
until the hotel is sold out. The reservation number is
503-484-1084. Also, some folks have been using Priceline
to get hotel rooms. Currently the going rate is $60-$90
for the Hilton, about 6 blocks from the Marriott.

Hotel
rates are valid 2 days prior and 2 days after the official
conference dates, based on availability. Reservations
must be made by Tuesday, August 12, 2008. The current
tax rate is 12.5% as of September 2007. Reservation requests
received after the cut off date are subject to space and
rate availability. If the group rate is not available
after Tuesday, August 12, 2008, the prevailing rate will
apply for any reservation confirmed.
On site parking is $26.00 per day
at the hotel. You are allowed to go in and out of the
hotel garage at no additional charge for that day.
The
hotel complies with the public accommodation requirements
