ACCA’s
comprehensive training program provides a unique opportunity
to study among the masters of our trade. The program is carefully
designed to focus on the critical issues challenging our profession
and strategies to successfully combat them. The program provides
at least 10 hours of hands on training in partnership with Morgan
State University. Each attendee who successfully completes at
least 10 continuing education credit hours will receive Continuing
Education Units (CEU) from Morgan State University.
Networking
and information exchange combined with a structured classroom
curriculum creates the optimum learning environment. Our faculty
is comprised of local and nationally recognized experts in their
respective fields.
ACCA
is the first and only organization in the country to offer the
Certified Compliance Administrator (CCA) and the Master Compliance
Administrator (MCA) certification, the most prestigious academic
credentials specific to our discipline.
Certified
Compliance Administrator (CCA)
Attendees who successfully complete the CCA program requirements
and accumulate at least 42 Continuing Education Credit Hours
through ACCA will receive ACCA’s certification as a Certified
Compliance Administrator
(CCA).
Master
Compliance Administrator (MCA)
Attendees who successfully complete the MCA program requirements
and accumulate at least 84 Continuing Education Credit Hours
through ACCA will receive ACCA’s certification as a Master
Compliance Administrator (MCA).
Participants
sign in each class on an official attendance sheet to document
class hours. Participants are responsible for ensuring attendance
is properly recorded. A minimum of 1 CEU (10 hours of training)
can carry over from year to year. If attendance records do not
show the minimum applicable hours of training required for certification,
a CEU Certificate from Morgan State University will not be issued.

Morgan
State University (MSU), a historically black institution, has
the unique designation as Maryland’s Public Urban University.
In support of the goals of Morgan State, the mission of the
Center for Continuing and Professional Studies is to serve the
lifelong educational needs of traditional and nontraditional
students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, professional, and
personal growth aspirations. The Center coordinates a broad
variety of educational activities and community services for
learners from the culturally diverse population of Baltimore
City, the State of Maryland, the nation, and the international
community.
As
an accredited academic institution, Morgan State University
offers Continuing Education Units/Credits (CEUs/CRs) and sponsors
activities for CEUs/CRs for university departments, organizations
in the Baltimore community, the State of Maryland, and nationwide.
The Center for Continuing and Professional Studies is the authorized
unit at the institution responsible for awarding, administering,
and reviewing CEUs/CRs procedures to ensure compliance with
established criteria. The Continuing Education Unit/Credit is
a uniform unit of measurement used to record participation in
non-credit academic, professional, and vocational programs.
Activities that qualify for CEUs/CRs are defined as organized
continuing education experiences under competent sponsorship,
capable direction, and qualified instruction.

Dr.
Willie A. Bragg
Willie A. Bragg is the Assistant Dean, School of Graduate Studies
and Director of the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies.
She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Morgan State
University, a M.A. in Education/Early Childhood Education from
Fisk University, Nashville, Tennessee, and a Ph.D. in Special
Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. She
completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Multicultural Special
Education Programs at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dr. Bragg was selected as an American Council on Education (ACE)
Fellow.
She
is a member of the Executive Advisory Board on Higher Education,
Education Task Force. Her areas of expertise include assessment
of young children with special needs, adult education, and international
issues related to diverse populations. She has authored and
directed numerous grants from the U.S. Department of Education
and Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the National Institute
of Health (NIH). These federally funded grants focus on faculty
development, leadership in higher education, and university-community
partnerships.
Ms.
Louise Y. Flamer
Louise Y. Flamer is the Assistant Director of the Center for
Continuing and Professional Studies at Morgan State University
in Baltimore, Maryland. She coordinates the Improved Opportunities
for Parents (IOP) Program and the Continuing Education Units/Credits
Program. Ms. Flamer received a Master of Business Administration
degree with a concentration in Marketing Management from Morgan
State University and a Master of Social Work (Clinical) degree
from the University of Maryland, both in Baltimore, Maryland.
She
is also a Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical
(LCSW-C). She serves on the Advisory Board (Education Committee)
for the Career Academy - Baltimore City Office of Employment
Development, and the Gerontology Program Advisory Board at Morgan
State University.
